Pint sized Mason Jars
Fresh Strawberries, sliced
Chantilly Cream (recipe below)
Sponge, Madeira or Pound Cake (ours is store bought)
300ml Thickened Cream
1 tbsp Caster Sugar
1tsp Vanilla Paste (or 1tsp vanilla extract)
Whip the cream with an electric mixer until it begins to thicken, then gradually add sugar. Add vanilla and whip until firm and fluffy.
Finish with some cake crumbs and a strawberry on top!
And there you have it, a deliciously yummy homemade gift or party food for everyone to enjoy ~ just make sure you keep refrigerated...if they last that long!
