STEP 2: PRINTING
When printing your Pinwheels, please make sure that your printer or local print store, is set to print to a full edge bleed. Some printers automatically insert a margin of white space, which is not suitable for this design, and may cut off the edges!
You can also select the 'Fit' option when printing, to ensure the design will fit onto your particular paper size.
DOUBLE-SIDED PRINTING OPTION:
Since your pinwheels are double sided, you have the option to print both the front and back sheets and glue them together, or if your printer supports it, you can print double-sided (printing the back design onto the back of the already printed front sheet).

STEP 3: ASSEMBLING
- Cut out pinwheel Front & Back sheets on black outside lines.
- Glue a pinwheel front sheet to a pinwheel back, matching up edges (If you have printed your sheets double-sided, then skip this step).
- Cut along the dotted lines on the Pinwheel front sheet, making sure to stop 1 inch from the dot in the centre.
- Fold corners with black dots on the back into the centre and secure with a dress pin or long headed thumb tack/push pin.
- Attach pinwheel to stick or straw and stick circular image in the centre of the pinwheel into the head of the pin using double sided tape or glue.
- You may need to loosen the pin in the stick/straw so the pinwheel has enough movement when it’s blown.
- Add a piece of felt, putty/blu tac to the end of the pin if it’s sticking out the other side of the stick/straw, for safety.
