STEP 3: ASSEMBLING
- Cut out the Party Hats templates along the outside line. When cutting out the tab, make sure you also cut 1 inch into the dotted line, to make it easier to slot the tab into tab insert.
- Using a box cutter or Stanley knife, cut along the black line on side of hat (tab insert).
- Gently fold the Hat into a circular shape, joining the tab to the tab insert at the back of the hat.
- Slide the tab insert into the tab, making sure all edges match up and are in line.
- Sticky Tape the tab on the inside of the hat to secure in place.
- Using scissors, punch small holes in either side of the hat and insert elastic or ribbon, tying knots at the ends, for children to keep hats on their heads. Add a Pom Pom or Curly Ribbons to the top for a final flourish, if desired.
