Files are compressed as .zip files. .ZIP files are NOT compatible with smartphones or tablets. You must use a Mac or PC computer to download & save.
STEP 2: UNZIPPING & VIEWING FILES
After you have downloaded & saved your file(s), you must first unzip/decompress your .zip files.
UNZIP your files by double-clicking your file (Mac Users) or right-clicking and selecting 'Extract' (PC Users). .ZIP files are NOT compatible with smartphones or tablets. You MUST use a desktop computer.
After your files have been unzipped, you can view your files with a desktop computer (either Mac or PC), using the default picture viewer, such as Mac Preview or Windows Photo Gallery.
If you are not sure which program to use to open the files, simply double-click on the files, and they will automatically open in the correct program.
STEP 3: PRINTING
Non-editable .JPG files can be printed almost anywhere, including at Home, a Professional Print Store, Photo Print Kiosks or an Online Print Store that will post your completed items.
PRINT AT HOME
PAPER TYPE: We recommend printing on bright white Paper or Cardstock which is 170gsm in weight or heavier. This ensures a professional finish. All background designs are included in the design, and will print as you see the examples online.
PRINTER SETTINGS: Some files, such as banners and cards, are formatted on 8x11inch sheets. This is designed to suit both US Letter & A4 size paper (since we are an international seller). Other files, such as posters, are formatted to standard poster sizes, such as 5x7", 8x10", 11x14", 16x20".
If you have 8x11" files:
IMPORTANT!! Make sure your printer is set to Print the ‘Actual Size’ setting in Adobe Reader. DO NOT print your items to ‘Fit’ to page or this can alter the look & size of your printed files dramatically (Especially for Envelope Templates, as your Invitation will not fit inside.)
COLOR VARIATIONS: The color that you see on your computer screen varies greatly from monitor to monitor. As such, there may be color variations from what you see on your screen to the printed product. Print quality and color also varies depending on which printer you use, the type of paper and printer settings.
PRINT AT A STORE OR UPLOAD TO AN ONLINE PRINT STORE
Save your files to your computer hard drive and upload to an online printing service. Non-editable .JPG files can be printed almost anywhere, including Photo Print Stores and Office Supply Stores. We recommend you review the store/website's own guidelines before uploading and/or using their services.
COPYRIGHT RELEASE FORM: Some professional printers require permission from the designer/owner of digital files protected under copyright law before they will allow you to print. Please feel free to download our copyright release form, entering the date and your name.
